E-voting without fraud [VIDEO]

A really interesting talk has been posted on TED.com today about a proposed method of electronic voting that offers greatly reduced possibilities of fraud. In this video [07:03] David Bismark demos a new system for voting that contains a simple, verifiable way to prevent fraud and miscounting. The system uses a nice mix of traditional paper-based voting and technology to achieve encrypted voting and increased transparency. This system would also likely be a lot cheaper than the €54.6 million the Irish government have spent so far on their own unused e-voting machines.
