Google Docs editing comes to Android and iOS

Writing this article on my iPad

As we speculated in this morning’s article Google Docs now supports editing on Android and iOS devices, including the iPad. In the coming days Google will be rolling out their ‘new documents editor’ that supports editing on mobile browsers.

This new feature will be made available to English-language users on Android Froyo (version 2.2) and on iOS devices (version 3.0+), including the iPad. Added support for other languages will be coming “soon”.
